Dental Monitoring is a smartphone app we can use to obtain real-time information about your Invisalign® treatment. This simplifies your orthodontic treatment, reduces the need for regular check-ups and facilitates improved communication with our team.
We have Dental Monitoring software at our practice which is linked to the app on your smartphone. Approximately every seven to ten days, you’ll upload selfies of your teeth to the app which our in-clinic system will view.
If you’re not sure how to take photos of your teeth, don’t worry. The app will provide you with the instructions.
We compare each selfie you send with the treatment plan we have prepared for you at our practice. If your treatment is on track you won’t need to visit our practice. Just carry on with your day!
